The rotor is tested in 2 modes: through O3/BPR transducer for detecting discontinued bars, blowholes, porosity, etc..(like O6/C ); using a sample stator, inside which the rotor being tested is housed, to calculate the resistance and reactance of the die-cast cage. The sample stator is interchangeable and assembled on a relevant housing, moved by a robotic axle. Another adjacent station enables LASER marking for good parts. Automatic loading and unloading using a ROBOT.

Maximum rotor dimensions:

  • outer diameter 200 mm
  • height with 500 mm shaft

Rotation speed: 400 rpm.

DETECTABLE DEFECTS:

  • Interrupted bars
  • Blowholes or porosity
  • Bar gradient angle
  • Short circuit between bars due to infiltration
  • Quality of aluminum
  • Eccentric cage
